We walk with Jesus.

The most important thing you bring to your marriage, parenting, work, friendships, and church team is your relationship with Jesus. Be intentional with Bible study, prayer, fasting, and community. Depend on the Holy Spirit for daily strength.

We are present.

Don’t cheat the people you’re with. Wherever you are—at home, work, or anywhere—be fully engaged. Give 100% effort and focus.

We treat others the way we want to be treated.

Show grace, patience, kindness, compassion, and respect—just as you would want others to show you.

We choose to serve.

When you enter a room, ask yourself: How can I add value? How can I serve others here?

We don’t run from hard conversations.

Difficult conversations are necessary for a healthy team. Anxiety, frustration, anger, sadness, and disappointment can make us want to avoid them—but don’t. Instead:

• Pray for wisdom.
• Seek advice from Godly counsel.
• Address issues sooner rather than later—the longer you wait, the harder it becomes.
• Approach conversations with humility, a willingness to learn, and a heart that’s slow to take offense.
